18 September 2008 - Definitive data for CO2 emissions during 2006 and revised data for 2005 are now available for each local authority area (NI 186).
30 June 2008 - 150 new local area agreements are announced.
National indicators
Following extensive consultation in 2007 Government has now published the final national indicator technical definitions, which includes Defra’s indicators.

The webpage for each indicator brings together background information, frequently asked questions, technical definitions and guidance to help local authorities to establish robust collection and monitoring arrangements.
