Local Environmental Quality: Shopping trolleys
This guidance has been developed by Defra, the Welsh Assembly Government, Local Government Association, British Waterways, Environment Agency and British Retail Consortium to assist local authorities, retailers and other partners in the management of shopping (and luggage) trolleys.
It aims to encourage and share best practice to help prevent trolley losses and promote closer co-operation in dealing with any trolleys that are abandoned.
