Best practice
The best practice criteria for LIFE Environment projects addresses the key issues of their contribution to immediate and long-term environmental, economic and social improvements; their degree of innovation and transferability; their relevance to policy and their cost-effectiveness. The best five projects are selected annually to receive additional assistance from the Commission to disseminate their results.
