3. Draft Papers for Winter Sown Oil Seed Rape
In closed session the SSC reviewed progress with draft papers dealing with winter sown oil-seed rape. The content of each paper and the overall structure of the papers were approved. Subsequent editorial changes would be handled via Email between the authors and the SSC.
4. Revision and submission procedures
A timetable for the subsequent reviews and submission of the papers to a journal was agreed, as was the target journal for the papers.
5. Publication procedures
The committee agreed that there should be a public event to disseminate the findings when the papers were published. The chair would develop options and liaise with the consortium and the remainder of the SSC as appropriate to develop an agreed plan.
6. Conclusion of the SSC
The procedure for the conclusion of the SSC was discussed and it was agreed that the SSC should be disbanded after the publication of the results of the winter oil seed rape papers and the submission of advice to Ministers.
