Climate change agreements
Papers and documents
A number of documents have been issued to sector bodies representing energy intensive industries eligible to enter climate change agreements. The documents are intended for use by the sector bodies and by businesses which have entered into a climate change agreement with the Secretary of State, or which intend to enter such an agreement. Copies of the current versions of each document are available here for reference and downloading.
Prospective participants who wish to know more about the agreements and whether they are eligible to join should contact the relevant sector association, whose details are given in the Contacts List included in the list of documents below.
The following categories of document are available for downloading:
- PP series - these are documents which were originally sent to companies seeking to enter climate change agreements. They include generic versions of agreements, provided for illustrative purposes and copies of the application forms. Copies of the agreements reached with individual sectors may be found in the Umbrella Agreements section of these pages
- CCA series - these are the most recently published guidance documents. They are of most use to sector companies and businesses which are in agreements.
- NA series - these are older documents, but are still current. Some may be superseded by new CCA series papers in due course.
- Series index (pdf, 175 KB) -This document is an index to the main references within the Climate Change Agreement (CCA), Participants’ Pack (PP) and Negotiated Agreement (NA) papers. The index is not exhaustive
