EU ETS: release of 2007 emission results
Defra and the UK regulators have now checked the UK 2007 data for accuracy and completeness and a sector-level summary of the 2007 results in the UK is given in the following table:

Defra intends to work with industry over the coming months to produce a UK report providing an overview of Phase I. This will provide analysis of the results in more depth and information on the results across the EU.
EU ETS: UK 2006 summary report
This paper summarises the results for UK installations in the second year of trading. It begins by reporting the results for the UK and the key factors that influenced emissions and sector surpluses/deficits in 2006. It then goes on to outline the results for other Member States, and finally it discusses preliminary conclusions both from industry and Government. This report aims to provide background information on the scheme and examples that may be useful for further policy development.
