Theme 4: Business, Environment and Economy
Overall aim of evidence theme
To provide evidence that can be used at a strategic and local level within Defra on the contribution of businesses to the UK’s environmental impact and their role in moving the UK towards sustainable consumption and production.
Areas of work:
- Sustainable Finance (unless project is developed within SCP programme specifically)
- Sustainable businesses – resource efficiency, management, reporting
- Sectoral analysis, measurement of impacts by business and development of tools
- Env. Regulation & Productivity
- Business behaviour change
- Innovation and Technology
