EV02039 Mapping the Evidence and Interventions on the Environmental Impacts of Cars
A review of existing evidence to provide a better picture of the sustainability impacts of the production and consumption of cars and any gaps that require further research. This will inform UK Government policy on interventions that can improve the sustainability of cars within the UK as well as internationally across the automotive supply chain.
EV0417 Additional evidence on Sustainability Impacts that occur during lifecycles of TVs
Existing key evidence on the environmental impacts on TVs and related interventions has been mapped out internally. However, gaps were identified where more UK-centric data could be gathered and further analysis carried out. This study will build on existing evidence and two main themes have been identified: statistics and trends (such as the way TVs are evolving as products in the UK compared to other EU countries) and the global supply chain of TVs (origin and types of components and end of life aspects)
