EV02024 2006 Review of Ecological Footprinting Methodologies
Defra SCP evidence projects to date have reviewed a wide range of existing methods for assessing the environmental impacts of consumption and production. The effective policy use of measurement is an evolving SCP area, and this review consider a number of key issues regarding the use of Ecological Footprints as a policy tool.
Project (EV02019) - Review of sustainable commodities
The project sought to identify reliable data on the broad scale of the impacts of UK commodity consumption to inform Defra’s understanding of the likely improvements required by future policy development and made recommendations for actions to promote sustainable use of commodities.
