Public Engagement ACRE sub group

This page summarises the work of the ACRE sub group on public engagement.
The group was established in February 2008. It last reported its progress to ACRE on 3 July 2008.

Terms of reference

The ACRE sub group has the following terms of reference:

• To develop proposals for a rolling programme of effective public engagement related to ACRE’s commitment to openness and transparency;
• To seek agreement for its proposals from ACRE;
• To implement the proposals through detailed discussion and planning, with support from the secretariat.

Mode of working

The group has a present membership suitable for its current remit (see above for terms of reference) and is open to co-opting other Members at any stage as required.
One informal preparatory meeting was held in February 2008 with a formal meeting on 1st May and intervening email correspondence.
