Objectives

  • Examine recent progress on the uptake of flood resilience since the last workshop in November 2004
  • Consider different options on providing better information and professional advice to the public on flood resilience
  • Identify remaining barriers to the uptake of flood resilience and how these can be overcome
  • Help shape final decisions on Defra’s pilot resilience grant scheme
