Biodiversity

Will the policy option disturb or enhance habitat or wildlife?
This question asks you to consider impacts on biodiversity. To help, this short guidance shows you how to determine the nature of any impacts on biodiversity. A further aim is to encourage you to think of ways of mitigating those effects if you identify them.

What is biodiversity

Biodiversity supports human existence. It has economic value. UK Government Policy aims to preserve biodiversity, in the UK and overseas.
