Biodiversity
Will the policy option disturb or enhance habitat or wildlife?
This question asks you to consider impacts on biodiversity. To help, this short guidance shows you how to determine the nature of any impacts on biodiversity. A further aim is to encourage you to think of ways of mitigating those effects if you identify them.
What is biodiversity
The concept of biodiversity encapsulates the variety of life on earth, including all species of plants and animals along with their genetic variation and the complex ecosystems of which they are a part.
