Defra's e-business strategy
In April 2000, the Cabinet Office set out a framework for e-government and required departments to produce their own e-business strategies.
The four guiding principles of the e-business strategy as defined by the E-Envoy are:
- building services around citizens' choices;
- making government and its services more accessible;
- social inclusion;
- using information better.
