Our Aim

The Delivery Transformation Programme - Delivery Network Support team (DNS) works in partnership across Defra to ensure that Defra has an effective, customer focused and accountable delivery capability which reflects the strategic priorities of the department.

Our Responsibilities

DNS is responsible for developing streamlined and more effective and consistent structures for governing the relationships between Defra and our delivery partners This includes:

  • supporting the framework for performance management of delivery bodies, and providing operational support and advice on governance, review regimes and appointments; and
  • promoting collaborative working across the Defra Delivery Network
