Consultations on plans to implement Council Directive 92/119/EEC on the control of Swine Vesicular Disease
On 4 November 2008, Defra began a consultation on proposals to update existing legislation on the control of Swine Vesicular Disease (SVD), outlined under bullet point three. The deadline for views and comments was 6 February 2009.
This consultation applies to England only. Separate consultations on similar provisions will be undertaken in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
