Consultation on draft Statutory Guidance to the Environment Agency on the regulation of radioactive discharges into the environment
The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on the draft Statutory Guidance to the Environment Agency on the regulation of radioactive discharges into the environment. The statutory guidance will be the vehicle through which the Environment Agency will implement the revised discharges strategy in England and Wales for 2006-2030. The Strategy is currently the subject of a parallel Defra consultation exercise
The deadline for responses to this consultation is 30 September 2008 and a summary report will be published on the Defra website by the end of December 2008.
