Consultation on a proposal for two per cent increase to milk quotas from 2008
This consultation is now closed.
The consultation seeks views on the European Commission’s proposal to increase EU milk quotas by two per cent from 1 April 2008. It also seeks views on the proposed method of allocating the additional quota, should any such increase be agreed.
Owing to the short timescales involved, there are two deadlines for comment: 17 January 2008 – on the proposal itself (ie, the principle of a two per cent increase) and 29 February 2008 – on the allocation of the additional quota (if it is agreed).
