Consultation on Local Authority Environmental Regulation of Industrial Plant: 2009/10 Fees and Charges
The Environmental Permitting Regulations 2007 provide for the setting of fees and charges for Local Air Pollution Prevention and Control (LAPPC) and Local Air - Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (LA-IPPC) at levels that will recover costs of local authorities of implementing the system. This consultation relates to the LAPPC and LA-IPPC fees and charges in England. The Welsh Assembly Government will be consulting separately on these charges.
Addendum to 26 September Consultation covering Charges for Environment Agency Water fees for A(2) Facilities
The consultation issued on 26 September excluded Environment Agency water fees for local authority-regulated IPPC installations as in previous years. It has subsequently emerged that proposals for these charges need to be included in the Defra charging consultation and we have issued an Addendum (see below) setting out the proposed fees and the rationale behind them. Annex 3 has also been amended to reflect these proposals.
