Consultation on a National Flood Emergency Framework

This consultation paper is the first part of a thorough programme of consultation that will help Defra to develop a forward looking policy framework for flood emergency planning and response, which will eventually form a National Flood Emergency Framework.

Your comments will help us to focus, precisely, on those aspects of flood emergency planning that would add most value to the work of local, regional and national flood emergency planners and responders. 

The closing date for this consultation is 27 March 2009.
