Consultation on a proposal to revise Directive 92/34 on the marketing of fruit plant propagating material and plants
Directive 92/34/EEC outlines requirements for the production and marketing of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants. The European Commission has introduced a proposal to update the Directive and views are sought to contribute towards a UK negotiating position. This consultation is relevant to all those who market (including import) fruit plant propagating material (such as seeds and parts of plants) or fruit plants intended for fruit production.
Deadline for responses: 9 November 2007.
