Anybody can get involved by planting and caring for trees to help make neighbourhoods more attractive, healthy places to live.
Plant a tree
You can get involved in tree-planting in your neighbourhood in lots of different ways. You could volunteer at a tree-planting event, or plant a tree in your community space or garden.
Look after a tree
You don’t need to have planted a tree to be part of The Big Tree Plant. You can get involved by providing some of the essential care that they need to survive and flourish. The more care a tree receives in its first two to three years, the more likely it is to do well.
Join or start a tree planting group
You can get involved in The Big Tree Plant by joining an existing local tree group and helping them with their tree-planting activities. If there aren’t any groups or projects near you, you could set up your own.
