What is the National Scrapie Plan?
The National Scrapie Plan (NSP) for Great Britain was a strategic long-term plan which consisted of a breeding programme to increase the number of sheep that are naturally resistant to Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSE) eg scrapie. The breeding programme consisted of different NSP schemes and initiatives.
