New powers to keep English eggs safe

New powers to issue penalty notices of up to £4,500 for marketing eggs as class A, should there be a failure to comply with the requirements to test for salmonella, have been granted to Animal Health. This follows on from Defra’s consultation with the industry earlier in the year. - Read More..
