Official Sample Collection Charges

In accordance with regulation 3 of the: 
The Zoonoses and Animal By-Products (Fees) (England) Regulations 2009;
The Zoonoses and Animal By-Products (Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2009;
The Zoonoses and Animal By-Products (Fees) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2009.
The Secretary of State, Welsh Ministers and the Scottish Ministers hereby publish the fees to be levied in relation to taking or upervising the taking of official control samples

Fixed Charge

£66 Per visit

Variable Charge

£29 per ½ hour (or part thereof)

Example
Below is an example of the fees a laying or breeding  flock keeper can expect to pay when an Animal Health official visits to collect or supervise the collection of official control samples.
An Animal Health veterinary officer visits the  flock for 3 hours to collect official samples:


1 x fixed charge

6 x veterinary officer (or Animal Health Officer/EMI) inspection fee
