20 July 2007 - The Welfare of Farmed Animals (England) Regulations 2007 have been made following approval in both Houses of Parliament. They will come into force from 1 October, bringing farm animal welfare legislation under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Guidance on the regulations is available. An information bulletin is available.

2 February 2007 - Consultation: Replacement of the Welfare of Farmed Animals (England) Regulations 2000. The deadline for responses was 30 March 2007.
