United Air Lines have commenced operating registered assistance PETS routes, and Americal Airlines have announced additional registerd assistance PETS routes into the UK.
12 February 2008 - Charter Airlines Premium Aviation, Jetup,Jet Alliance, Direct Air Executive Ltd, have commenced operating PETS routes into the UK. NetJets US have announced additional routes into the UK.

11 October 2007 - Those choosing to travel with their dog or cat are reminded that the last date on which valid PETS certificates may be used is the 30th September 2007. After that date, such animals must have a pet passport. From the same date the PETS 2 certificate (for Tick and Tapeworm treatment) will no longer be acceptable and the treatment must be recorded in the pet passport.
