Imports from third countries of animal by-products under EC regulation 1774/2002: CN codes on model health certification.
Purpose
To clarify that the CN codes which appear on certain model certificates in Annex X of EC Regulation 1774/2002 are examples ONLY.

Action for OVS
The CN codes pre-printed on the specimen health certificate are examples only.
Import of animal-by products which have a different Commodity code to the CN codes appearing on the model certificates mentioned in the CIN may be permitted, providing the consignments otherwise meet the requirements specified in the health certificates.
