GUAR GUM FROM INDIA - UPDATED LIST OF LABORATORIES AND RESULTS OF TESTING
This letter is addressed to Chief Port Health Officers, Nominated Officers for Imported Food and Border Inspection Posts in England and Heads of Service of Feed Authorities with responsibilities at points of entry only.
1. Further to my letter of 2 May 2008 (ref IFD/E/08/015 & OVS/2008/29) I am writing to inform you that the Commission has updated its list of approved testing laboratories to include ones in Germany and these can be found here . If you have any problems accessing the link please let me know and I will arrange for an electronic copy to be provided.
2. Decision 2008/352/EC requests quarterly reports of analytical results, and the Commission has indicated that it would like to receive a report of all the analytical results received up to and including the 30 June 2008. The Commission have provided a reporting pro forma for this purpose and I have attached it to the email accompanying this letter. Please note that we have provided separate pro formas for food and feed.
We would be grateful to receive returns by close Friday 22 August. Please send your completed pro formas to David Mortimer in the Agency's Incident Prevention & Chemical Risk Management Unit at david.mortimer@foodstandards.gsi.gov.uk .
