Highly pathogenic avian influenza in Israel - Lifting of restrictions
1. This OVS Note is to advise you of the latest situation in respect of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Israel.
2. Please see the attached Customer Information Note AI/API/08/67 that has been issued today.
3. Although the restrictions have been lifted, until 2 July consignments of birds or bird products from whole territory of Israel shall be allowed provided that the health certification accompanying consignments include the following wording:
‘Consignment in accordance with Commission Decision 2008/161/EC’

4. Ensure that health certificates accompanying consignments of bird products from Israel are until 2 July include the wording referred to above.
