Import of beef from Brazil
Purpose
1. To advise you of the latest situation in relation to imports of beef from Brazil.
Background
2. Please see Customer Information Note API/2008/44 issued today.
Action for OVSs
3. Any consignments that do not meet EU requirements should be rejected and either re-exported or destroyed.
4. If consignments are to be returned to Brazil, OVSs should note the contents of OVS note 2008/1.
