Export Health Certificates to the former Yugoslavia

Details

1.         Interested organizations need to be aware that since the break-up of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia many of the export certificates that were previously used for the union of Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro are likely to be out-of-date, referring as they do to the non-existent nation of Yugoslavia.

2.         Exporters with an interest in exporting to these countries are advised that in some instances new export certification may have to be prepared for these nations and are urged to allow themselves enough time for the necessary certification to be agreed.

3.      In the first instance exporters are urged to contact their local Animal Health office to make enquiries as to the availability and status of the certificate that they require, and to clarify the state of the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia that they wish to export to.
