Export of meat/viscera/sausages derived from pigs to Japan
1. Revised export certification is now available for the export of meat/viscera/sausages derived from pigs to Japan (1292EHC).
2. Exporters should be aware that only meat, viscera or sausages derived from pigs slaughtered on or after 23rd May 2008 can be exported from the United Kingdom to Japan. In the case of imported pigs or products of porcine origin, these must have been imported on or after 23rd May 2008.
3. Should exporters require a specimen copy of the export health certificate and the notes for guidance or other associated documents, they should contact their local Animal Health Office:Further Enquiries
