Our aim is to reduce the risk of exotic animal diseases, plant pests and diseases entering the country and then threatening our public health, livestock, agriculture and horticultural industries and the environment.

8 August 2008 - Public information film: Don't bring me back: Personal food imports campaign. A new film launched to highlight the risks travellers face if they bring illegal food products into the UK.

24 July 2008 - The Annual Review of Controls on Imports of Animal Products: April 2007 - March 2008 (PDF 1.2 MB - Please note this is a large file) was published. An Information Bulletin was also issued. A Welsh language version of the Review (PDF 1.2 MB – Please note this is a large file) has also been produced.

10 January 2008 - Re-launch of the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) personal food imports campaign ‘Don’t break the law, check the rules before you travel’.
