Avian influenza (bird flu): Cellardyke, Scotland incident April 2006
With no further cases of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1 having been found, restrictions in the Wild Bird Surveillance Zone were lifted at 00.01 on 1 May 2006. Following a veterinary risk assessment, the Wild Bird Risk Area (east of the M90/A90 stretching from the Forth Bridge to Stonehaven) was ended at the same time.
