We held a stakeholder meeting on vaccination delivery planning on 23 August 2006. A note of this meeting

Following this meeting and as part of our ongoing contingency planning and stakeholder engagement, we formed a Technical Working Group of stakeholders. This was set up to work on the practical details of a vaccination delivery plan for use with the Commission if we should decide to seek approval to vaccinate if recommended by a veterinary risk assessment.

As part of our work with this Group, we produced a paper summarising the current legislation (16 KB) on rules that apply to the movement of vaccinated poultry. We also are in the process of finalising information on the likely costs of vaccination.
