Bluetongue: Access to the countryside

Currently there is no need for restrictions on access to the countryside after the detection of Bluetongue on the 22 September 2007 in Suffolk.

Dog walking and horse riding

Bluetongue does not affect dogs or horses. There are no restrictions on dog walking or horse riding, and no closure of footpaths, because of Bluetongue.
