Over Thirty Month Scheme

The OTMS closed on 22 January 2006. During the 10 year period of operation of the scheme some 8.54m animals were slaughtered in the UK. This was broadly proportioned at 69% from England & Wales, 15% Scotland and 16% Northern Ireland.
