Delivering and enforcing the Animal Health and Welfare Strategy
The Delivery Change Programme within Food & Farming Group aims to rationalise delivery partnerships and give a clear line of sight from policy through delivery to outcomes. The programme will cover projects which will scope the rationalisation of delivery interfaces, arrange transfer of delivery functions from Food & Farming Group to delivery partners and develop and implement the Government’s response to David Eves’ Review of the Animal Health & Welfare Delivery Landscape. The Managing the Delivery Chain core team within Food & Farming Group are responsible for coordinating requirements and negotiating with the Group's Delivery Partners (VMD,VLA, MHS, and Animal Health). They cover the management of the Service Level Agreements with each, responsibility for liaising with and managing the current Framework Agreement and supporting additional funding for Local Authorities in England & Wales on AHW enforcement and the Annual Report to Parliament.
