Action in the UK - UK Climate Change Programme 2000
The UK's Climate Change Programme
was published in November 2000 and a review was launched in September
2004. The Programme detailed how the UK plans to deliver its Kyoto target
to cut
its greenhouse gas emissions by 12.5%, and move towards its domestic
goal to cut carbon dioxide emissions by 20% below 1990 levels by 2010.
